Digital Notebook — browser saving (version 4.7)
===============================================

Right-click anything you read and it's saved to your notebook, with a link back
to where it came from. YouTube videos come with their transcript.

Setting it up (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc or Comet — about two minutes)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Unzip this folder somewhere you'll keep it. If you delete the folder later,
the extension stops working, so put it somewhere permanent.

2. Open your browser's extensions page:
      Chrome / Brave / Comet chrome://extensions
      Edge edge://extensions
      Arc arc://extensions

3. Turn on "Developer mode" (a switch, usually top right).

4. Click "Load unpacked" and choose the folder you unzipped.
You should now see "Digital Notebook" in the list.

5. The Connect page opens by itself. If it doesn't, go to:
      https://thenotebook.site/connect
Sign in, then click "Connect this browser". That's it — one click, no
   copying or pasting of keys.

Using it
--------
- Right-click any page, article, video or post, and choose
  "Save to Digital Notebook".
- Or press Alt+Shift+S.
- Or click the Digital Notebook icon in the toolbar.

Everything you save appears at https://thenotebook.site — things from the same
source gather in one note, so there are no folders to keep tidy.

If a save doesn't arrive, it isn't lost: it waits and is delivered next time
your notebook is reachable.
